| Detail | SALARY: Rs.340,780 p.a. (Starting salary) (Position Grade: FSN-4) NOTE: ALL ORDINARILY RESIDENT APPLICANTS MUST HAVE THE REQUIRED WORK AND/OR RESIDENCY PERMITS TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR CONSIDERATION. BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION: The incumbent of this position provides the first line of defense for the building. S/he controls both vehicular and pedestrian access into the compound while maintaining key and visitor logs. The incumbent monitors perimeter cameras and utilizes Post’s radio equipment while serving as the exterior security center. The incumbent will field and respond to visitor or telephone caller inquiries and will serve as the after-hours telephone. Additionally, s/he must be proficient in contacting the appropriate office to obtain information on specialized and technical questions and ensure the integrity of the security procedures is maintained. The incumbent must react proficiently to emergency situations, perform other related duties assigned by the supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: NOTE: All applicants must address each selection criterion detailed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item. 1. EDUCATION: Completion of secondary school (ten years of education) is required. 2. EXPERIENCE: One year of clerical experience is required. 3. LANGUAGE: Level III (good working knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing English, Urdu and Pashto are required. 4. KNOWLEDGE: Must have a good working knowledge of access control and general office procedures. 5. ABILITIES & SKILLS: Incumbent must be computer literate in MS Office suite with good typing speed. Must be able to quickly learn complex electronic and mechanical security devices. | ||
