Job Purpose & Scope:
- To manage a contract activity plan for assigned activities with Contract Holders; these plans will address all pre-award (e.g. strategy development, commercial and technical pre-qualifications)
- To review scope of work and develop tender and contractual documents, ensuring that expert advice is obtained, prior to issue, from specialist departments (e.g. legal, finance etc).
- Identifying the Potential risks involved in Short listing the Bidders from Risk/Finance/Legal Angle in addition to their Technical capabilities
- Preparation of Tender packages with comprehensive, Term and conditions, specifications, standard clauses with required list of Exhibits. Interpretation of Contract clauses/issue Tender Bulletins as necessary. Ensure that Contract agreement specifically covers HSE aspects.
- To ensure availability of an audit trail of all key documents in line with the Company policy. Ensure all data being fully entered in MAXIMO; Deliver the required management information for review and initiate improvement of contracting performance.
- Represent the Company in external Contracting matters, as required.
- To coach and manage subordinates, setting objectives and targets, assess performance and facilitate their development options in order to secure a motivated and competent workforc.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering 2. Certified Quantity Surveyor accompanied with a certificate from Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) or equivalent Institute. 3. Strong communication and presentation skills 4. 10 years varied experience in contracts related to operation, maintenance of oil producing facilities such as but not limited marine vessel charters, facility integrity contracts such as painting, scaffolding, inspection and testing; administrative contracts like catering contracts, transport contracts etc. not needed if provided to work with international first class companies 5.
