FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE GREATER TORONTO AREA
Toronto, ON
Req-5586

The scope? International. The potential to learn? Undeniable. And the opportunity for growth? Huge.

Jump out of the box and beyond your job description when providing daily management of a diverse mid-market commercial credit portfolio. Gain exposure to a variety of different industries and the global financial market by serving clients with diverse and international needs: opening accounts, financing foreign operations, buying and selling overseas inventory… the list goes on. Our unique international network and wide scope allow us – and will allow you – to create and deliver the innovative and catered financial solutions other financial institutions can’t even dream of in this increasingly interrelated world. You’ll toss the cookie cutter when generating deals and structuring customized financial arrangements, ideally applying the loan-constructing experience that has brought you this far in your career. In addition to a gift for sales, you will dedicate your ability to minimize loss in this role to ensure our continued success – and yours.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business, finance, accounting or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 1–5 years’ proven and progressive commercial lending/credit experience, or an equivalent background
  • Portfolio management and relationship management experience working with mid-market commercial clients
  • Developed decision-making, communications and persuasion skills
  • Strong knowledge of risk management – with a history of monitoring client accounts to ensure they are in line with risk management guidelines and policies
  • Sound understanding of lending and credit approval processes, rules and regulations
  • Ability to conduct effective interviews with borrowers and new loan applicants
  • Aptitude for exercising good judgment and discretion
  • Superior understanding of financial statements
