Detail		SALARY: *Ordinarily Resident: Rs.340,780 p.a. (Starting salary)(Position Grade: FSN-4) NOTE: ALL ORDINARILY RESIDENT APPLICANTS MUST HAVE THE REQUIRED WORK AND/OR RESIDENCY PERMITS TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR CONSIDERATION. NOTE: All applicants must address each selection criterion detailed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item. BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION: The incumbent watches the three mechanical rooms HVAC power generators and its water distribution with responsibilities for the entire operations during shift work. As a shift worker incumbent is responsible for the operation of the chiller water units, central air conditioning (Absorption System) water purification unit, pressure pump for the residence, eight emergency generators for the entire 35 acre compound and chemical control for the cooling tower and other related equipment such as the swimming pool and other wading pool during shift work. Also assists in preventive maintenance of Absorption Chiller. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: 1. EDUCATION: Completion of secondary school is required and completion of vocational training or apprenticeship recognized as producing journeyman skills, or equivalent experience, is required. 2. EXPERIENCE: Two years work experience in Absorption System Chiller operations and shift responsibility is required, including installation, maintenance and repair with excellent ability to trouble shoot a system down to component malfunctioning. 3. LANGUAGE: Level II (limited knowledge) Reading/Writing/Speaking in English, level III (Good working knowledge) Reading/Writing/Speaking in Urdu and Punjabi are required. 4. KNOWLEDGE: Incumbent must have knowledge of principal functions of the HVAC system and DDC operations with all safety regulations. Assists in preventive maintenance & repair of Absorption Chiller and type of HVAC systems. 5. ABILITIES & SKILLS: Incumbent has an ability to perform independently on shift work and maintain log book. Must possess appropriate certification in the HVAC operation. Must be proficient in reading & understanding schematics, drawings, manufacturer manuals.
