10 UAE Nationals are required to be enrolled under Emarati Program

Emarati program is designed for fresh graduates that have recently joined the organization. In the first two months they undergo theoretical training at the DIB academy and the training branch and the remaining 4 months they spend on job training with close coaching and mentoring. This aims to familiarize them with Islamic Banking and the opportunities for career growth in this area. Required Criteria:

  • UAE National.
  • Fresh High School/ Diploma / Higher Diploma
  • Preferred, related Business majors or IT
  • Practical & Theoretical Training

10 UAE Nationals are required to be enrolled under Part Time Program
(Ref # HR/REC/PT/02)

The part time program was one of the successful programs where the staff worked in DIB branches for 5 hours a day / 5 days a week with different facilities and benefits. A number of these UAE Nationals are to be promoted with full time jobs. Required Criteria:

  • UAE National.
  • Afternoon students.
  • Currently not working or sponsored by any other organization or institution.
  • Diploma, Higher Diploma OR Bachelor
  • Preferred, related Business majors or IT.

20 UAE Nationals to be enrolled under Scholarship Program

This program is one of DIB priorities where the selection of the students is aligned with the recruitment plan as per the business requirement and need. We select students from different majors / Emirates and academic institutions. The objective of this program is to identify high flyer students to be groomed for key positions in the organization and to become leaders of tomorrow. Required Criteria:

  • Nationality: UAE National
  • Program: Diploma, Higher Diploma & Bachelor Programs
  • Majors: All Business related majors and IT major
  • Gender: Male / Female
  • GPA: 2.8 And Above
  • Work Experience: Fresh
  • Language: Arabic & English

Branch Manager–UAE National (Ref #: HR/REC/BRA/01):

  • Lead the branch effectively in order to ensure the achievement of retail liabilities, assets, cards and third party product sales targets.
  • Regularly review customer complaints, approaching complainant personally where required to ensure prompt resolution
  • Train the sales and service staff on new products/ product features and ensure knowledge dissemination
  • Implement processes in sales, service and delivery in accordance with established policies. Also assist in the implementation of other change initiatives as per directives
  • Represent the Bank in the community in order to promote its image, enhance its reputation and optimize business opportunities
  • Inculcate high performance culture among staff ensuring the delivery of professional and quality of customer service
  • Track competitive activities and regularly report to Marketing in order to support their efforts on market tracking

Minimum Requirements

  • 5-6 years experience in banking, with at last 2 years in managing service function in medium retail branch in well established and recognized financial institutions.
  • Knowledge of banking practice and theory
  • Excellent written and oral communication and effective interpersonal skills
  • Sales and relationship management techniques
  • Team leadership and ability to motivate and facilitate groups
  • Budget and cost control
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and Arabic
  • PC literate
