  • ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

    Graduation with a bachelor's degree from a recognized university, obtained by May 2010, with a specialization in social sciences, criminology, political science, economics or public administration.

    Note: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree. The courses for the specialization do not necessarily have to be part of a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Experience

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

*Experience in preparing correspondence or other written material for information and/or signature by management.

*Experience in participating in project teams or working groups.

*Experience in Word, Excel and Power Point applications.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:

*Experience in research or analysis or development of policy related to public safety (Emergency management, Policing, Crime prevention or National Security).

*Experience with Grants and Contributions.

*Experience in program administration services.

*Experience in drafting financial and/or
statistical reports.

*Experience can usually be demonstrated through volunteer work, student employment and/or scholastic activity or achievement. Therefore candidates are encouraged to indicate on their resumé, activities or experience related to their field that they feel may be pertinent to the types of employment they are seeking.
