Urgently Required A newly established international investment organization in the gulf region specialized in agricultural and livestock projects is seeking a self motivated professional to fill the following vacancy. Major Duties and Responsibilities:- To recruit and manage a team of professionals, including project managers, construction managers, site managers, consultants, planner, coordinators To provide management oversight for all phases of a construction project, including design, engineering, tendering, construction, procurement of material, and equipment, ensuring full and complete delivery according to the tender specifications, schedule and within budget. Develop a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of each project. Select and coordinate work of subcontractors working on various phases of each project. Oversee performance of all trade contractors and review architectural, design and engineering drawings to make sure that all specifications and regulations are being followed. Is responsible for proper administration of construction contracts, budgeting and for obtaining all necessary permits and licenses. Tracks and controls construction schedule and associated costs to achieve completion of project within time and budget allocated. Report to the senior management about each projects progress, budget, difficulties, risks, remedies, etc. Requirements:- Bachelor degree in civil engineering (structural engineering discipline). Master degree is a plus. At least (15) years of experience in executing and delivering major projects (industrial &/or high rise buildings construction projects) of increasing complexity. Ability to work under pressure and coordinate various activities and resources to achieve maximum utilization and efficiency. Strong knowledge of the construction industry in the GCC. Strong background and expertise in managing different forms of contract (FIDIC, British, US, etc.) Demonstrated and proven ability to manage contractors, sub-contractors, consultants and suppliers. Fluent in English (especially in written professional, technical & contract communication, i.e. reports, contract/project management letters, budget & expenditure reports, etc.) Excellent oral and written communication skills.
