Description | SENIOR MARKETING MANAGER, CMB/GBM We are seeking an experienced, self managing individual to join the Marketing team in a newly developed position of Senior Marketing Manager, CMB/GBM reporting to the Head of Marketing, Australia. Purpose of the role: To lead and manage the strategy, planning, design, development and delivery of all aspects of the marketing mix in order to drive and support profitable revenue growth for relevant segments within Commercial Banking (CMB) and Global Banking & Markets (GBM) in Australia. A key priority is building the HSBC brand presence and driving sales in these markets through the development of relevant material to support the businesses, management of advertising and direct marketing campaigns, events, sponsorships, website and ad-hoc projects as required. This involves developing marketing strategy and customer propositions, budget control, project prioritisation, planning, execution and evaluation. The role is expected to effectively manage agency and supplier relationships to maximize service delivery and to prepare marketing submissions and evaluations for regional and group approval as required. Main responsibilities of the role are to: • Grow market share and share of wallet and deliver profitable revenue growth. • Build brand strength within the identified CMB and GBM target audiences. • Manage targeted marketing activities for relevant CMB and GBM segments. • Support the business with segmented proposition development. • Work closely with business owners to develop an understanding of their businesses and identify their communication needs. • Drive a customer-centric culture within CMB and GBM. • Contribute strategic leadership and direction within the Marketing as well as the CMB/GBM teams • Drive and support referral programmes across customer groups. • Control costs, and maximise return on investment of marketing initiatives. • Ensure all regulatory requirements are met. To be successful in this role, you will need: • Minimum 5 years experience in a financial institution working with business/institutional customers, ideally in a marketing role. • To be results driven with experience in planning and execution of all elements of the marketing mix. • Understanding of the global environment of large corporates would be an advantage. • Strong communication and influencing/negotiation skills. • Strong business orientation with a demonstrated understanding of market and business dynamics, financial products and issues in banking/financial services environment. • Demonstrated relationship management skills to successfully build and maintain relationships with people at all levels of the organization, both internal and external stakeholders. • Recent experience in the local financial services industry. • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects with multiple tasks and stakeholders.
