Calling all customer service experts
When a customer walks into one of our branches they expect a service that understands their needs and caters to them - that's what our retail banking revolution is all about. So it should be no different when someone gets through to us on the phone. As a Sales and Service Advisor at one of contact centres, your job is to gain an insight into each person's lifestyle, so you can offer them the perfect financial products to suit their needs. Because with Barclays, they should expect nothing less.
What you'll give our customers
To put it simply: what they want. Which means you'll have to use all your strong inter-personal skills to discover all about the person, their life and what's best for them when it comes to our large range of products. From savings and current accounts to credit cards and insurance, we'll look for you to have a good eye for a sales opportunity and know when to refer a customer to one of our product Specialists. Working closely with the rest of the team to deliver a seamless customer experience, it's an opportunity to put your customer service expertise to work at the heart of our business.
What you'll get in return
Help our customers get the best that Barclays has to offer, and you'll get the same in return. We're not just talking about valuable benefits like great bonus potential, private healthcare, childcare savings, and a huge range of employee discounts. You'll also enjoy a unique company spirit that believes in giving people the freedom to do a great job today, and the support to reach their biggest ambitions in the future.
What you'll need
The success of everyone at Barclays is measured by their ability to put our customers at the centre of their day. To do that in this role, you'll need proven sales and service experience in a call centre environment and the ability to build strong customer relationships, quickly. With the commercial nous to recognise a sales opportunity and the dynamism to follow it through, we'll help you to build a career around customers.
We'll judge you on your ability and nothing else.
