In this key role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Network ChargingTeam conducts efficient analysis and maintains a full understanding of all issues affecting network charges. Developing a Network Management Book process, you will present your findings through timely and accurate management reports on outturn prices, costs, profit & loss performance and any changes to network charges. You will also help to maintain a high profile for the business as our network charges representative at industry meetings and consultations.
You combine a demonstrable understanding of Management Book concepts and processes with a clear appreciation of the economics and operation of the network system. Proven knowledge of the electricity and / or gas markets and their governance (including licences, codes and network charging) are essential. Educated to degree level, you have strong analytical abilities, including fully developed spreadsheet and database skills. Excellent communication skills are also essential, as you will need to explain and describe complex charging arrangements to non-specialist audiences.
